Year's End

  • Mood:
  • Music: The Phantom of the Opera

I've done such a fine job of keeping this journal up to date -- like so much more in my life, I guess.  I struggle with how to take charge of life direction -- I seem to have fallen into the rut of letting life happen while longing for it to be different somehow.  Wayne Dwyer talks about intention... my intentions seem to get up and move out of town so frequently.  I don't know where they go.  Sounds like the lyrics to a sad song, so enough of that!

We have a new house.  I like the powder blue living room carpeting, the hardwood floors in the dining & bedroom.  It already feels like home.

The year is fast coming to a close... in some ways it feels like gobs has happened -- parents' deaths, mother moving in with us, new house, vacations in Utah, etc.  and then in other ways it feels very stuck and the same. It's a MOST curious sensation.

Well considering my intention would be to add to this on a regular basis in 2006, I guess we'll see how successful it will be... Maybe Comcast's super fast connection speed will provide enough encouragement to accomplish my intention here.  I love COMCAST

Congress has lost their minds

  • Mood: Angry
So tell me why disconnecting Terri Schiavo's feeding tube is ANY concern to national lawmakers.  It should be up to her husband.  The courts have ruled.  It is an extremely poor issue for Republicans to be grabbing for their political grandstanding.  Let Terri rest in peace!

Holiness

  • Mood: Tired

Is holiness a state that is achieved, or is it a state that is granted?

It seems that when we speak of God that most would say holiness is simply a state of being.  But, when we turn to speaking of holiness in human terms the word suddenly takes on an achievement value where it depends on how you act or behave.

Can holiness mean one thing for God and another for humans?

Got Some New Tuning Forks

  • Mood: So-So

My new High Frequency Acutonics forks arrived yesterday and have been experimenting with them a bit today.  The high frequency forks are effective in connecting one's aura to the celestial anchors... How's that for New Age lingo for linking one's physical with one's spiritual?  The high frequency forks tend to help integrate the whole person.  I'm anxious to find folks who are willing to feel what this will do for them.  Any takers?
